To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry, the 4th International Conference on Nuclear Medicine "Nuclear Medicine 2025" will be grandly held in St. Petersburg from December 11th to 13th. This conference focuses on the forefront of nuclear medicine and has become a highly anticipated important event in this field this year.
The conference features diverse and comprehensive content, focusing on in-depth discussions around telemedicine technologies, applications of artificial intelligence in specialized medical institutions, nuclear medicine department design and organization, as well as research and development of radiopharmaceutical synthesis and production technologies. On December 11, the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Evolutionary Medicine and Medical Heritage will hold a meeting, bringing together top nuclear medicine experts to discuss the latest scientific challenges in radioimmunotherapy and alpha-beta radionuclide therapy.
The symposium on December 12th will focus on the clinical application of radionuclide therapy in the treatment of tumor diseases and musculoskeletal diseases. Participants will share experiences and discuss the application prospects of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals based on multiple isotopes. Meanwhile, during the conference, discussions will be held on hot topics such as personnel training, changes in radiopharmaceutical circulation regulations, clinical referral, and the development of clinical guidelines for radiopharmaceuticals. In addition, top experts from Russia, Germany, the United States, and South Africa will deliver speeches on the development prospects of radionuclide diagnosis and treatment worldwide.
On December 13, a seminar titled "Modern Diagnostic and Visualization Methods in Nuclear Medicine" will be held. The applications of PET/CT and SPECT/CT in diagnosing various serious diseases will be introduced in detail. Scientists and technical experts from several companies under the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation will also attend the conference, adding more professional strength to the event.
